BlueByYou – A pick-your-own all-natural blueberry patch in Fenwick, Ont.

ALL DONE…
The 2025 U-pick berry season has ended.
What was an abundance of berries has quite literally gone to the birds. The crop was incredible this year, and we’ve had our pick; now it’s their turn. As chemical-free growers embracing biodiversity, we take our cues from from nature. The patch now hosts an abundance of feathered friends, deer and nocturnal creatures who’s presence is known only by the paths left in taller grasses.

This was an interesting year. A very wet, cold spring made for a late opening, but the berries were SO plentiful and plump! Then came the heat wave. Wow it was hot. Even so, we were thrilled to see so many smiling faces this season – all enjoying a bumper crop of big juicy berries.
We shared more than ever with Pelham Cares Foodbank, sent LOADS to Peller Estates Winery and Restaurant in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and welcomed back Manic Pixie Dream Coffee. It was a great year.

BlueByYou is a family-run hobby farm in Fenwick, on the Niagara peninsula. Our rolling rural property is home to about an acre of mature high-bush blueberries in a private setting.
Nestled amongst towering trees in a secluded space, the BlueByYou patch is painstakingly tended with natural principles, for the health of pollinators and the environment as much as those who love to eat blueberries!

While tender-fruit growing is a year-round effort, blueberry season is short and sweet – beginning in early July and lasting only a matter of weeks.
Berries are available by the pint – we can do the picking for you, or you can pick your own (PYO/U-pick). Pre-picked orders can be submitted using the form on our Contact page.
Go to the Contact / Hours page to find our location and hours of operation.

Stewarding a healthy environment, and part of David Suzuki’s Butterflyway Ranger program, we add more native plants each year. We grow some for ourselves and some to share with you!
Attract pollinators in your own yard with these locally grown, low-maintenace perennials:
Evening primrose, rock harlequin, ironweed, common milkweed, swamp milkweed, obedient plant, white snakeroot, giant yellow hyssop, virgins bower and more…
Also native trees and shrubs:
Eastern redbud, willow, elderberry, grey dogwood, black walnut, Freeman maple…

The 2025 picking season is here!
It’s been a year of extreme weather – a seemingly endless winter, a cold wet spring, and now a hot HOT July. While the berries are ready a little later than usual, they are big, beautiful and bursting with flavour. The U-Pick will be open Fridays and Saturdays in July, weather and crop conditions permitting. As always, we will have pre-picked pints available too. Follow us on Facebook to see the latest updates. We hope to see you soon!
Counting the days…

BlueByYou berries are all natural, with no sprays or chemicals. Berries are $5/pint, pre-picked or Pick-your-own. CASH ONLY. Hello summer!
Summer has officially arrived, and berry season is soon to follow.
FAMILY DAY – July 16, 2023
Since so many of our customers last year brought their kids, we thought it would be fun to make a special day for families with a few extra things to do. Limited parking available on the grass through the farm drive. Ample parking along Centre Street (across from the Fenwick Market location) Bring hats, water bottles. Close-toed shoes recommended. No washroom facilities on site; no pets please. Because we care about families (we’ve got kids too!) and the environment, we decided to give Family Day a pollinators theme, and include a fundraiser for Comfy Cases. Comfy Case volunteers in Pelham…
Coming Soon (ish)…
UPDATE: As of Wednesday, it is clear the berries will not be ready for picking this Saturday. With sun in the forecast though, conditions should be prime for picking July 15 (and our Family Day on the 16th!) The cold dry spring and recent rain have made the patch rather unruly this year, but there are loads of berries… Only the berries know when they’ll be ready. Actually, they probably don’t even know… they just hang around soaking up the sun! Usually, picking begins by the second week of July, so, if I had to guess, I’d say July 8…
